How to Connect to FTP Using FileZilla
FileZilla is one of the easy use FTP client application its available for windows, Linux and Mac Os. Follow the steps on how you can use the FileZilla.
- Download the FileZilla to your local computer by clicking this link
- Install the FileZilla
- Get your FTP login details from your hosting account ( if you are not aware about your FTP credentials you can contact your hosting provider to assist you).
- Host: ftp.(your domain)
- Username (username of your cpanel or hosting account)
- Password (Password of the FTP account or cpanel)
- Port number: 21
- enter quickconnect.
Uploading Files: For you to upload file you need to drag the file from local site (the files from you computer) to remote site (Server files) from the right side.
Downloading Files: To download the files or if you want to backup the files from the server to your local computer you need to drag the files from Remote Site (right side) to local site section(left side).
