BARCELONA, Spain -- Barcelona has signed Croatia midfielder Ivan Rakitic on a five-year contract after agreeing to his transfer from rival Spanish club Sevilla. Air Force 1 Baratas Rebajas . The 26-year-old Rakitic will help fill the void left by the exit of Cesc Fabregas to Chelsea as Barcelona overhauls its squad following its first season without a major trophy in six years. "It felt a little weird at first," Pomeranz said. "I was trying to take the same mentality Ive had all year. Ive had some success doing that, staying in the stretch, keeping things as simple as I can out there. Just tried to treat it like I was coming into a game." The Mariners overcame a shaky start from ace Felix Hernandez to win the opener 6-4 on Justin Smoaks two-out single in the 10th inning. Despite the loss in the nightcap, Seattle heads home satisfied following a 7-2 road trip that also included stops in New York and Houston.
